We are 1 month old!

What a month. We had no idea we would be so busy!

Thank you so much to everyone who has visited us at the start. We are so proud of our staff. The chefs have produced some great tasting food which has been very well received. Our young fledgling staff have been amazing and we are very proud of you all.

We have a lot of training still to do and we need to bring our lovely animals up for everyone to enjoy but for our first month James and I are incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of this adventure. Thanks to our customers for their patience whilst we battle with the weather to bring you all a beautiful place to work, eat, walk around and have fun and buy wool.

Santa makes a special visit to Snarestone

We are now fully open! Bring the children to visit Santa in his Yurt (weekend mornings in December – booking advised), browse wool and craft supplies in our shop “Knittiquip” and finish off with a drink and cake or lunch in our tea room. Something for everyone and a warm welcome guaranteed!

The grand opening!

What an amazing weekend.
I can’t begin to explain how emotional and wonderful it all was.
We have started an amazing journey. James and I were surrounded by most of the people who have helped us to get to this point. It was really important to us to try and say thank you in a small way to them.
The tea room looks amazing. Knittiquip is just fantastic. Still got some work to do but it feels wonderful to work there.

Our animals have arrived and we are quarantining them for a few days until the pens are perfect. Next weekend we hope to open that for our first customers.
I can’t wait to see you all.
Thank you to you all for your support and patience. The waiting is over. Pop and
see us. Xx

Knittiquip is on the move!

So it’s the last week at Breedon.
I will be having a relocation sale of certain yarns and patterns.
The building is looking amazing and almost everyone who walks in says WOW!!
We still think it’s wow and I can’t wait to share it all with you.
You have all been amazing.
I can’t thank you enough.
From customers to friends in four years.
Thank you all.
The next adventure is about to begin.
Over the next few weeks I will update you and let you all know when you can come and visit.
Thank you all. With love and thanks.
Tracy. Xxxx

Build progress

The time has come to show you our new tearrom and wool shop in the making.
I am so excited! The building looks amazing in real life.
We will have plenty of space for new yarns, plenty of room for our classes.
Lovely food and drink and a gorgeous outside area for a bit of peace when the weather is good along with some lovely interesting animals to see.
Over the next few weeks I will be posting plenty of updates.
This is a really exciting adventure for us all and I hope you will join in with the fun.

Our new project

It has been such a long time since we posted anything on our site.

We have been really busy throughout this time.

We have been granted planning permission for a Tearoom, Wool shop and Animal Park. Over the next few days we will be posting pictures to bring the story up to date. We are so very excited about this project and hope that you will join in and come and see us, our lovely animals, good food and fantastic selection of wool.

The ground work started in November 2016.

James really enjoyed playing with a digger.

We then decided on the type of cabin and she was ordered. She arrived on two huge lorries.

It took some time to unload but it was so exciting.  The young driver was amazing reversing that enormous lorry through the gates and parking it.  It all worked like a dream.  Then we waited for the second lorry to arrive!!
